Howard & Co, Boston, Series VI, 15J, G-S (pendant watch, just over 6S), 14K multicolor gold original Western HC, rear with multicolor bird and flower scene within a rose gold crescent moon which is inset with 5 diamonds, front with rose gold shield engraved "Nellie" which is surrounded by multicolor floral detail, gold cuvette, white enamel SS dial, SW-shift-locking-LS, gilt mvt, s#104225. Gross weight of assembled watch 39.2 dwt (61.0 g). A notably beautiful example, in superb condition throughout, and with vibrant multicolor detail.
CONDITION:
Mvt: Running, nearly mint cosmetic mvt condition overall, some mild haze to portion of balance cock; excellent dial with very faint perimeter hl at 10:30, some bits of adhesive residue around rim of seconds-register, small edge flakes under bezel between 7 and 9; nearly mint hands; case shows virtually no wear, some scratches inside rear, no dents of dings, superb crisp engraving detail, front needing assistance to release from latch when opening; tight bow, crown shows very little wear; good glass crystal.
